National deputy for the Workers' Left Front (FIT) Myriam Bregman stated that the next session in the Chamber of Deputies 'smells rotten, and very much so'. She emphasized that the governors, described as 'feudal lords', will once again show their true faces by ordering their deputies to provide quorum. Bregman called this a 'provocation' and an attempt to 'carry on as if nothing is happening, pretending that everything is normal' when a new corruption scandal has erupted. She also again referred to the modification of the Glaciers Law, calling it an initiative that 'destroys the environment, our territories, water, and communities,' while at the same time remarking that 'the shadow of Edgardo Kueider is still there,' in connection with the purchase of votes in favor of the national ruling coalition. Bregman also highlighted that the provinces where large-scale mining has advanced in recent decades 'have little to show,' and contrary to what is said, experience demonstrates that 'poverty grew contrary to the basis of the 'progress' that these projects bring': 'The profits go down the drain to the companies; the environmental damage and pollution remain in the territories,' she added. 'The same as with the labor reform?' concluded the deputy. In the same vein, she again referred to the modification of the Glaciers Law and qualified it as 'an initiative that destroys the environment, our territories, water, and communities,' at the same time as she remarked that 'the shadow of Edgardo Kueider is still there,' in connection with the purchase of votes in favor of the national officialism. On the other hand, she highlighted that the provinces where large-scale mining has advanced in recent decades 'have little to show' and, contrary to what is said, the experience demonstrates that 'poverty grew contrary to the basis of the 'progress' that these projects bring': 'The profits go down the drain to the companies; the environmental damage and pollution remain in the territories,' she added. 'The same as with the labor reform?' concluded the deputy. Conversely, they dare to send a project to destroy the Glaciers Law, which, from its origins, with the 'Maffei Project' defended by Miguel Bonasso and others in Congress, drags the shadow of Barrick Gold and the dirty money with which they try to bend wills. Will they organize to rotate among those who provide quorum and those who vote for the law? In addition, she crossed the officialism and pointed out corruption in the cases of the National Disability Agency (ANDIS), the $LIBRA crypto-scam, and the alleged illicit enrichment of the Chief of Cabinet, Manuel Adorni. From her social networks, she remarked that it is 'very serious' what is going to happen this week in Congress and described the position of La Libertad Avanza (LLA) as 'almost a slap in the face to those who look with indignation, anger, and even disenchantment' at the scandals linked to the management of Javier Milei. 'To $LIBRA are added the bribes in ANDIS, the '3%', the Adorni scandal, to that are added the loans from the National Bank... and the list could go on. But the president and his officials will not come to Congress to give explanations about these facts.'
