A passenger on line A of the subway died this morning at the Castro Barros station, heading towards Plaza de Mayo. The incident caused trains not to stop at that stop. The company Emova reported that the 70-year-old man collapsed and, despite the quick assistance from company staff, police, and SAME, they could not resuscitate him. According to the police report, after receiving a call to 911, both personnel from the Subway Division and the 5A Police Station of the City Police went to the station in question, where they found the man unconscious. Upon the arrival of SAME, his death was confirmed. Although the identity of the deceased was not revealed, it is known that he showed no signs of violence. The man's body was secured by a gazebo set up by the police at the scene. The National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office 39 intervened in the case and ordered the preparation of death investigation records of questionable criminality.
