Major Fire at Prefabricated House Factory

A fierce fire broke out on Saturday at around 22:30 in the city of Esteban Echeverria (Argentina) at a factory for prefabricated houses and mobile offices. The fire quickly got out of control inside the establishment, demanding intense work from firefighters to prevent the flames from spreading further. Due to the ferocity of the blaze, reinforcements from the barracks of Lomas de Zamora, Lanús, Ezeiza, Guernica, Almirante Brown, Tristán Suárez, and San Vicente had to be called to the scene. As a direct consequence of the heat and fire, one of the houses on the property is currently at risk of collapse in one of its walls, keeping the area under strict surveillance. One firefighter had to be assisted and urgently transferred to Santa Marina Hospital in Monte Grande due to carbon monoxide inhalation. The material damage in the area was total. After several hours of fighting the flames, the firefighters managed to bring the situation under control, although the material toll is complete.
