Several celebrities, including Florencia Peña, have been called to testify in a case for promoting illegal betting on social media. The actress expressed her outrage, stating that many were misled by spreading clandestine content. Peña explained that she accepted the promotional job believing it was legal, but it turned out to be the opposite.
"I presented the chats, it was supposed to be something legal. They called me to testify to find out how I got this job. I have a booker who finds me work, some I accept and some I don't. This seemed like a normal job; it came through an agency. My booker told me it was for two stories to promote, I gave my approval and it turned out to be clandestine," Peña affirmed.
