The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has again issued new alerts for various adverse weather events, such as severe storms with possible hail, which will impact a large part of the country throughout this Thursday. According to the Argentine News Agency, the phenomenon will affect several provinces, including Buenos Aires Province and the City itself. It will also be felt in Entre Ríos, Córdoba, and Santa Fe. Details of the severe storm alert: Information from the SMN indicates that the area will be affected by rain and storms of varying intensity, some locally severe, which could cause heavy rainfall in short periods, frequent electrical activity, gusts of wind that may exceed 75 km/h, and occasional hail. According to the report, accumulated precipitation values between 40 and 70 mm are expected, which may be exceeded in specific areas. SMN recommendations for strong winds: Avoid going outside. Do not take out the trash and clear drains and sewers. Unplug appliances and cut off the power supply if water enters. Close and stay away from doors and windows. Remove or secure objects that could be blown away by the wind. If you are outdoors, seek immediate shelter in a building, house, or enclosed vehicle.
