Formosa reported an increase in COVID-19 cases, and the Ministry of Human Development of the province has reinforced security measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
According to the Argentine News Agency, 341 positive cases were recorded in the province last week out of 1,422 tests performed.
In a statement, the Ministry of Human Development of Formosa encouraged «to continue with the compliance of preventive measures to cut the circulation of the virus and prevent the disease from continuing to advance».
«The health agency emphasized frequent hand washing and the use of alcohol gel».
The statement also adds: «Ventilate environments, crosswise; sneeze and cough into the inner fold of the elbow; use disposable handkerchiefs and avoid getting close to people with respiratory symptoms».
«Do not share mate, tereré, bottles, bombillas, glasses, or other personal items; avoid staying in closed places where there are many people, and if it cannot be avoided, use a mask correctly placed».
