In Paraná, Entre Ríos province, a pipe burst at the Echeverría water treatment plant, injuring two workers who were connecting a new pipeline. The incident occurred when the two employees were inside a well. One was operating a grinder while the other was holding the machine's cable when a jet of pressurized water shot out from the cutting point, throwing them out of the structure. After the pressure was reduced, colleagues outside came to the rescue of the two operators, who were slightly injured. They were treated on-site and recovered at their homes. The tasks at the plant included installing a 500 mm pipeline parallel to the existing 750 mm line, incorporating a more powerful pump, and adjustments to the pumping station. After pumping resumed, the water supply began to progressively normalize in different sectors of the city. Likewise, the municipality requested that neighbors make rational use of water stored in tanks and cisterns.
