A woman was shot in the lung while boating and remains in intensive care. The incident occurred on Sunday on the Arroyo Correntino river in Escobar. The victim's husband reported that they were with friends in a boat when someone shot at them. Ana Marquis was hit in the lung by a caliber 22 bullet. Her husband, Martin, who was steering the boat, noticed she couldn't breathe and turned pale. He immediately took control and, 15 minutes later, they reached the hospital. The woman was operated on, and her condition is improving. Martin emphasized that it was a very serious incident and hopes nothing like this happens to anyone else. He also mentioned that their two adult children were with them at the time and are supporting them now.
