
At the corner of Julio Corso and Thames, a second seizure took place where the police arrested a man who was carrying several ravioli of cocaine in his clothing. Subcommissar Pablo Ruiz reported that the procedure occurred around 7:00 on Friday, when a team from the Special Unit was conducting preventive patrols in the area. Upon reaching the corner of Thames and PerĂº, the officers noticed the suspicious behavior of a man on a motorcycle upon noticing the police presence.
After an inspection, six packages containing a whitish substance were discovered, which turned out to be cocaine after being analyzed by specialized personnel. The prosecutor ordered the seizure of the drug and the arrest of the individual, who is 35 years old, who was linked to a case of Violation of the Drug Law. Given the presumption of a possible drug trafficking offense, the seizure of the drug and a background check on the individual was requested from UFINAR.
