The Municipality of Blanca has decided to suspend all activities planned for tomorrow afternoon. This measure, which includes classes and public transportation, is based on the circulation restriction due to the condition of some roads that have not yet fully recovered and the drainage system that has not been completely rehabilitated.
In case of a yellow alert for the probability of rain and storms issued by the National Meteorological Service, it is important to follow the municipality's recommendations, which include not putting out trash, removing objects that could obstruct water flow, avoiding outdoor activities, keeping away from trees and electrical poles that could fall, securing loose objects that could be blown away by the wind, and staying informed through official channels.
An unstable weather is expected for tomorrow with the possibility of isolated rain and storms during the afternoon and night. Rain accumulations are estimated to reach between 15 and 25 millimeters, although they may be lower. Wind gusts of up to 60 or 65 km/h are forecasted during the storms, while conditions are expected to improve after 7 PM.
In light of this situation, the Emergency Committee will be activated preventively at 2:30 PM at the Monitoring Center, ensuring the availability of all necessary resources to respond to any eventuality that may arise.
