The young woman noted that after making her complaint public, other girls reached out to her to share that they had experienced aggressive behavior from Santiago. Emily described the relationship as always violent and mentioned that even a fellow cast member from the reality show where they met came forward as a witness in the case.
In her testimony, Emily revealed that her ex-partner was a "snake charmer" who deceived others with his appearance. The situation had a significant impact on her family, causing her mother to become unwell and making her father break down in tears upon hearing what had happened.
Emily's lawyer emphasized that since the complaint, the young woman has had no contact with Santiago and that they have 80 pages of evidence supporting her accusations, including prior injuries and considering the incident as attempted homicide. The young woman admitted to having difficulty sleeping, with nights interrupted by nightmares due to the violence suffered during the relationship.
