Carlos Eduardo Robledo Puch, known as "The Angel of Death" and sentenced to life imprisonment for committing eleven murders, one rape, two kidnappings, and 17 robberies, stated in an interview that he believes he will never be released: "They will never let me out... I think I told you, I was clear."

The 73-year-old man, detained for more than 50 years, expressed his desire to be executed: "All I long for is to be taken into the room of a clinic and have an IV put in and be put to sleep deeply and then be injected with poison and killed." He also detailed his precarious health situation, mentioning suffering from hernias, prostate issues, cataracts, arthritis, asthma, muscle loss, in addition to constant pain in his spine, hip, and waist.

Robledo Puch recalled in the interview his criminal history, which included the violent murder of nine men and two women during the period between March 15, 1971, and February 3, 1972, when he was a 19-year-old. Currently incarcerated in the Olmos Penitentiary Unit No. 26, the killer stated: "I am suffering terribly."

Despite having spent more than half a century behind bars, the man known as "The Black Angel" feels that his fate will not change and that he will remain locked up for life.
