The school report made by the school of one of Wanda Nara and Maxi López's children generated great concern by accusing Mauro Icardi of having been violent with the child. Amid this controversy, an interview with Maxi López from the program Intrusos in 2016 resurfaced, in which he was in the midst of a conflict with Wanda.
In the interview, Maxi López expressed: "The truth is completely contrary to what the mother says, so in that aspect, I am calm because obviously, I try to do things right." In response to the accusation of having been violent with one of his children, the ex-footballer replied: "I have never, ever in my life laid a hand on my children."
The Intrusos reporter mentioned to Maxi López the alleged situation that he had shaken his son, causing marks on the child's body, which had supposedly been reported by the school. Maxi categorically denied this circumstance, claiming that the school year in Europe starts in September and that, therefore, the information was false.
In light of the accusations and the public debate regarding parenting, Maxi López reaffirmed his stance of denying any acts of violence towards his children and lamented the media exposure that these family conflicts generate, especially concerning the children's mother, Wanda Nara.
