Warm weather persists this Thursday in various regions of Argentina, with renewed alerts for strong winds issued by the National Meteorological Service (SMN). The warnings remain in effect in coastal areas of southwestern Buenos Aires province, as well as the coasts of Río Negro and Chubut, where a yellow alert has been declared due to weather conditions.
According to the SMN report, in the areas affected by the yellow alert, northeast winds are expected to reach speeds between 30 and 50 km/h, with gusts that could exceed 65 km/h. For the afternoon of Friday the 31st, winds are expected to shift to the south while maintaining their intensity.
The National Meteorological Service issued specific recommendations to cope with the strong winds in these areas. It is advised to avoid outdoor activities, secure objects that could be blown away by the wind, stay informed through local authorities, and have an emergency backpack prepared with a flashlight, radio, important documents, and a phone.
In the words of the SMN: "The area will be affected by northeast winds with speeds between 30 and 50 km/h, and gusts that may exceed 65 km/h." These measures aim to prevent possible incidents caused by adverse weather conditions and ensure the safety of the population in light of the strong winds in these regions.
