
A 34-year-old woman jumped half-naked from the first floor of the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo, and her partner was arrested, accused of having held and sexually exploited her. The incident took place on Niceto Vega Street at 5900 on the morning of this Monday. City firefighters and personnel from the Community Police Station 14 B were alerted by the presence of the woman who had jumped from the first floor asking for help.
According to police sources, a group of neighbors detained a man, the victim's partner, who was accused by her of keeping her against her will, drugged, and sexually exploited. The woman reported that they had been a couple for five years and that both were from the province of San Juan. She decided to jump from the first floor to escape the situation.
The victim was immediately attended to by SAME personnel and transferred to Fernández Hospital with a diagnosis of multiple trauma. The case was handed over to the National Criminal and Correctional Court 5, under the charge of María Eugenia Capuchetti, Secretariat 10 of Leandro Noguera, who ordered the detention of the 54-year-old man. He was held under arrest incommunicado, while the Human Trafficking Division of the City Police took charge of the case. Additionally, a security presence was established at the apartment.
