Tragedy in Guaymallén: Miguel Angel Kruk, father of siblings Abril and Agustín, who tragically passed away in 2018 after being run over, revealed in a video on social media a concerning situation in the area. According to Kruk, the road in Guaymallén has shifted one centimeter from its original path, which could pose a serious danger to pedestrians. Marcos Calvente, an engineer and the local mayor, has confirmed this information and is working to correct the deviation.
The fateful incident occurred when the young Abril and Agustín were accompanying their mother along Costanera, near the Matienzo street bridge. On that day, a truck was crossing Matienzo street when a drunk driver was going the wrong way on the same road, and José Caccia was speeding in his Ford Fairlane north along Costanera. This combination of factors led to an inevitable tragedy that claimed the lives of the two children.
It is important to note that the siblings were transported in critical condition to Notti Hospital, while their mother, Carla, suffered multiple injuries and also required medical attention. Despite the circumstances, Carla remained by her children's side throughout the entire process, showing commendable bravery.
