Buenos Aires, March 26 (NA) -- A 22-year-old man was charged with the crime of serious negligent injuries for having run over a boy in the province of Salta, as he also fled the scene at the time of the event. According to the Argentine News Agency and, as indicated by the Salta Public Prosecutor's Office, the decision was made in the context of the hearing where the accused gave his version of what happened, while the criminal prosecutor for the Centro district, Pablo Paz, was the one who pushed for the charge. Likewise, the prosecutor requested the provisional disqualification of the accused from driving motor vehicles and that he be required to hand in his driver's license while the process is ongoing, which was based on reckless driving.
