Milei's Strong Support in Mendoza Ahead of Elections

Recent polling in Mendoza shows Javier Milei leading with a 64% positive approval rating, far surpassing Cristina Kirchner's 20.3%. As we approach the 2025 elections, these results indicate Mendoza's pivotal role in Milei's political landscape.

Milei's Strong Support in Mendoza Ahead of Elections

In Mendoza, the results of a survey show broad support for the libertarian president and strong rejection of the national leader of the Justicialist Party, Cristina Kirchner.

Javier Milei has significant support in the province of Mendoza, with a 64% positive image and a 33.6% negative one. This positions him as the state where he receives the most backing. This data could be indicative for the legislative elections of 2025 in the region.

In contrast, Cristina Kirchner has a much less favorable image in Mendoza, with only 20.3% positive perception and a high rejection rate of 77.9%. This difference places her among the lowest rated in the province.

Mendoza and Córdoba are considered Milei's strongholds, as in both provinces he surpasses Cristina Kirchner by more than 40 points. Other governors who were rated more favorably in the survey were Ignacio Torres (Chubut), Maximiliano Pullaro (Santa Fe), and Osvaldo Jaldo (Tucumán), while the lowest rated were Axel Kicillof (Buenos Aires), Jorge Macri (CABA), and Gustavo Sáenz (Salta).

The survey highlights that Mendoza is one of Milei's main strongholds, with a 43.7-point lead over Cristina Kirchner. This trend was consolidated in the 2023 elections, where the Mendoza electorate largely supported the libertarian president.

In addition to these results, the study also evaluated the image of other provincial governors. Conducted by the Public Opinion Consulting firm between March 1 and 4, the analysis included the perception of President Javier Milei and former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner throughout the country.
