The province of Mendoza has been closely collaborating with the national government in implementing economic measures. The governor, Alfredo Cornejo, mentioned that there is more agreement than disagreement between both and that he is considering joining the ranks of the ruling party. Compared to the era of Macri, society currently demands that economic problems be solved without neglecting the presence of the State.

"The government with good agreements with collaborative opposition can win the mid-term elections and have a stronger parliamentary majority," said Cornejo. He also predicts that the ruling party will achieve a victory with a larger margin than Macri did at his time.

The president, Javier Milei, has been invited to attend the National Harvest Festival in Mendoza along with several Cabinet members. This celebration will feature several events, such as the Breakfast of the Argentine Wine Corporation, which will be attended by national and provincial authorities linked to the wine sector.

Alfredo Cornejo met with Karina Milei and expressed his desire for the president to participate in this traditional celebration. The presence of officials such as the Minister of Defense, Luis Petri, and the General Secretary of the Presidency, Sandra Pettovello, among others, is expected.

In addition, it is anticipated that Karina Milei and Martín Menem, president of the Chamber of Deputies, will participate in an event to strengthen La Libertad Avanza locally and advance electoral agreements with different political forces. The lieutenant governor, Hebe Casado, expressed her interest in closing agreements with libertarians in the region.

During the PDAC mining fair, Alfredo Cornejo assured the victory of the ruling party in the upcoming elections and highlighted the government's determination not to yield on fiscal deficit issues. "In the medium term, the orientation is guaranteed because the government will not loosen its stance on fiscal deficit," emphasized Cornejo.
