A fire in a section of the Ministry of Security and Justice of Mendoza has uncovered criticisms regarding the lack of political commitment to improve conditions affecting the well-being of citizens and police personnel, according to national deputy from Mendoza, Lourdes Arrieta.
The lack of funding to maintain infrastructure in optimal conditions at various points, such as central offices, police stations and dependencies, has generated concern in Arrieta, who questioned the allocation of funds obtained from extraordinary services.
In the words of the deputy: "I see a lot of politics for the gallery; however, it is evident that the safety of the people of Mendoza is not a priority for the government of Alfredo Cornejo." These statements reflect a critical view of the governmental management in Mendoza in terms of security and justice.
