Representatives from various unions, such as Luz y Fuerza, Judiciales, UEPC, SURRBaC, SADOP, Television, and Musicians, along with popular organizations like the Peasant Movement and the Forum for Freedom, Democracy, and Human Rights, gathered in a "multisectoral plenary" in Córdoba to announce the potential implementation of a general strike in the province. María Ana Mandakovic, Deputy Secretary of the national CTA Autónoma, urged the unions to discuss the call as a response to Milei's budget cuts and governmental actions.

It was decided to organize a new march in Plaza San Martín in support of retirees and in solidarity with fans from clubs not linked to barras bravas. Additionally, they joined the national day of struggle scheduled for March 27 against the unconstitutional decree seeking another IMF loan under Milei's government. A plenary is scheduled for March 17 at the Historical House of Workers to continue discussing actions.

The central unions, including CGT Regional Córdoba, CGT Historical, CTA, and CTA-A, made the announcement at a press conference at the Historical House of the Labor Movement. They set a next meeting for Monday to advance the coordination of the measure, which could take place at the end of March, possibly on March 27 as part of the national strike against Javier Milei's DNU to obtain funding from the IMF.

Various organizations, such as the Coordinating Committee of Fans, the Solidarity Forum of Córdoba, and the Working Group for Human Rights of Córdoba, joined the call for mobilization. The need for unity and collective resistance to face the current situation was raised. A representative from the CTA Córdoba emphasized the importance of dismantling narratives that blame the victims of repression.

In another vein, the Coordinating Committee of Fans of Córdoba challenged the label of "barras bravas" imposed by the national government, asserting their identity as authentic fans. Additionally, a statement was read at the conference denouncing the violent repression by Milei's government and Minister Bullrich, as well as a call for mobilization on March 19 in support of retirees and involving various sectors of society.
