In the midst of the internal dispute in the Justicialist Party, Ricardo Quintela's legal representative, Jorge Yoma, met at the Casa Rosada with the Chief of Cabinet, Guillermo Francos, although he claims they did not discuss issues related to the Peronist elections. Despite the fact that the Electoral Board of the space did not officially recognize the list "Federales, un grito de corazón" due to irregularities in the presentation, the legal team will appeal that decision. Yoma surprised many by crossing the Government House to meet with the head of ministers.

After an hour of discussion, Jorge Yoma left the Casa Rosada without making statements to the press. According to Francos' environment, the internal matters of the PJ were not part of the meeting's agenda, and only issues concerning La Rioja were addressed. Yoma revealed that the meeting was held to negotiate the debt of 320 million dollars that the Nation holds with the province, corresponding to the administrations of Alberto Fernández and Javier Milei.

In the context of an internal dispute involving Governor Ricardo Quintela and former Vice President Cristina Kirchner, the visit of Quintela's representatives to the Casa Rosada can be interpreted as an attempt to seek support in the struggle for leadership of the PJ. From the Patria Institute, the meeting is seen as an indication that Quintela is under the government's influence due to the defaulted debt and other issues.

Recently, Máximo Kirchner accused Quintela of lying after he reported the loss of more than 20,000 endorsements from his presentation. For his part, Quintela announced that he will file a petition in court to postpone the elections until March, asserting that parties are won on the field and not at the desk. Prior to the disqualification of the "Federales" list, the vice ministry of the Interior had already operationalized the delivery of ballots for the elections.

Currently, only the list "Primero la patria" led by Cristina Kirchner is authorized to participate in the electoral process of the Justicialist Party, as Ricardo Quintela's list faces problems due to lack of official recognition by the Electoral Board.
