Five Drivers Sanctioned for Alcoholism in Argentina

Five drivers were sanctioned for circulating with more than two grams per liter of alcohol in blood as part of operations carried out by the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV). According to the agency's statement to the Argentine News Agency, during a vehicle control carried out on the Acceso Oeste, two motorists recorded 2.38 and 2.11 g/l, while in Mendoza, Salta, and Misiones, three others had results of 2.78, 1.95, and 1.69 g/l.

One of the controls was carried out on the Acceso Oeste. In the case of the Acceso Oeste, the first driver (2.38 g/l) was driving without a valid certificate of the Mandatory Technical Review (RTO/VTV) and was fined on Sunday morning. Meanwhile, the highest blood alcohol level was reported on national route 12, near the Misiones town of General Roca, where a driver recorded a result of 2.78 g/l.

At the same time, in two operations implemented on provincial route 11, in Campo Santo, Salta, and on national route 7, near the Mendoza city of Guaymallén, agents detected two motorists with blood alcohol levels of 1.95 g/l and 1.69 g/l, respectively.
