Argentina Consulate in Miami Sparks Controversy Over Private Show Promotion

The General Consulate of Argentina in Miami, dependent on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, found itself at the center of a controversy after an official email was circulated promoting a private show with a direct link to ticket sales. The official email was sent from the address cultural_cmiam@mrecic.gov.ar with the subject "UNIVERSAL FATIMA (this Saturday)". The message does not invite to an institutional, academic, or free cultural event, but rather promotes the show by comedian Fátima Florez, who was also the partner of President Javier Milei. According to her, the diplomatic mission disseminated the show with a direct link to ticket sales. The ticket sales site linked from the official email details the prices for the show. General admission costs $40.32, while a VIP seat costs $110, as reported by the Argentine News Agency. The most expensive package is the "VIP Meet and Greet," which costs $198 and offers the chance to meet the artist and take a photo with her after the show. The email begins: "Our friends at ARPI Group present."
