The general secretary of ATE, Rodolfo Aguiar, held a meeting with the leader of the Frente Patria Grande, Juan Grabois, where they agreed to continue opposing the government of Javier Milei. Both leaders confirmed their participation in a strike planned by the CGT for early April.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed the national political situation, the deep economic crisis, and governmental policies that mainly affect popular sectors, workers, and retirees. Aguiar emphasized the need to defeat Milei through social mobilization.

The meeting took place at the national headquarters of ATE, where they called for joining mobilizations alongside retirees to protect democracy against possible repressive acts and authoritarian measures from the Government. They also announced a strike of public employees for March 27 aimed at stopping layoffs in the public sector.

Aguiar emphasized the importance of workers once again being protagonists in the construction of a transformative political project that promotes social justice. For his part, Grabois underscored the unity among workers, retirees, and students in the fight for collective well-being.
