Protests in Argentina for Workers' Rights and Health Conditions

The Federation of Health Professionals of the Argentine Republic (Fesprosa) will join the strike call to be held in Chaco and Río Negro. In both provinces, fair negotiations, salary increases, an end to labor precariousness, and the closure of services will be demanded. Additionally, the regularization of precarious workers and budget adjustments for the implementation of the Health Career will be requested.

In Chaco, the Association of Public Health Professionals, Technicians, and Assistants (Aptasch) has called for a 24-hour strike. All this occurs amid an operation supervised and approved by the National Director of the Gendarmerie, Aníbal Ariel Bronzetti, and the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich.

Meanwhile, in Río Negro, the Public Health Union of the province will hold a provincial day of protest in hospitals. It is argued that the closure of services, labor precariousness, and low wages are some of the reasons for the mobilization.

The march scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, in support of retirees and against repression will take place in front of Congress. It aims to express the discontent of health workers and solidarity with retirees following the recent disturbances.

The Federation reiterated its rejection of the violent actions of Patricia Bullrich's police and supported the demands of retirees, calling for unity in the mobilization.
