Graciela Camaño criticizes the behavior of Javier Milei's government following an incident between Santiago Caputo and Facundo Manes during the Legislative Assembly, pointing out the disrespect for democracy.

Debate on the Incident in the Legislative Assembly

Former national deputy Graciela Camaño shared her opinion on the incident that took place at the end of the Legislative Assembly between presidential advisor Santiago Caputo and radical deputy Facundo Manes, calling it "serious." In her statements, Camaño expressed that the government of Javier Milei shows a "huge disdain for the rules of democracy."

According to Camaño, Milei's response to deputy Manes is not that of a president, and she considered Caputo's actions, who holds a public position without responsibilities, to be an usurpation of titles and honors. The former legislator highlighted the seriousness of the situation, mentioning that the scene was regrettable, especially seeing how Caputo confronted Manes and even went as far as to seek him out and push him.

During a radio interview, Camaño also pointed out that there was an occupation of the session hall during the Legislative Assembly, as well as a disdain towards the press sector. For her, the President's speech left a taste of nothing and evidenced a confusion between the public and private, which, in her words, reflects the government's contempt for the rules of democracy and an inadequate handling of the situation at such an important event for the country.
