Milei Prepares for Legislative Assembly Speech

President Javier Milei is finalizing the details of his speech for the upcoming Legislative Assembly, where he is expected to highlight the "achievements" of his administration and the "cultural battle" against leftist sectors.

According to sources from the Government House, the event will follow a similar format to last year, with the President speaking from a podium in front of the parliamentary body. The speech is expected to last around 45 minutes and will provide a political and economic analysis of the first year of his administration, along with a projection towards the year 2025.

The President intends to mention the tools that the Executive Power needs from the Legislative, as well as the pending changes necessary for Argentina's progress. One of the main focuses will be the "cultural battle" carried out by the government in opposition to progressive and leftist sectors.

Milei is expected to spend less time mentioning "the inheritance" and focus more on highlighting the achievements and milestones of his administration. It is also anticipated that he will announce around 30 legislative projects, none of which would be as significant as the Bases Law. The speech is being drafted by the President himself and is still in the process of being finalized, as relevant issues from the administration are being included.
