Journalist Horacio Verbitsky claims President Javier Milei may be extorted regarding the alleged $LIBRA crypto scam, linking him to potential scandals.

Allegations of Extortion Against President Milei

Investigative journalist Horacio Verbitsky has made serious accusations against President Javier Milei, suggesting that he could be being extorted with information about an alleged crypto-scam related to the $LIBRA token on the Solana platform. According to Verbitsky's investigation, people close to the president, such as his sister Karina Milei, his partner Yuyito González, and even his dog Conan, are associated with the $LIBRA project.

Verbitsky warned about an account on a social network linked to $LIBRA that would be demanding the President a greater participation in the business, under the threat of disclosing intimate details. Despite the accusations, the government has remained silent on the issue, which has led to the controversy continuing to escalate.

The $LIBRA case has raised suspicions in judicial and financial circles, and even the possibility that international bodies, such as the SEC in the United States, investigate the matter has been mentioned. Verbitsky has publicly questioned the lack of explanations from the president regarding how he promoted the project on his social media and why he kept a pinned message for five hours.

In an interview with Jorge Fontevecchia on "Modo Fontevecchia" (Net TV, Radio Perfil, and Radio JAI), Verbitsky expressed his doubts about Milei's situation, wondering whether the president was deceived or participated in a scam without being aware of it. Additionally, he criticized the silence of the ruling party in response to this scandal, stating that the seriousness of the situation warrants a prompt response from the authorities.
