Controversy Over President Milei's Leadership

Hugo Yasky accuses President Javier Milei of being seen as a fraud internationally, citing political implications and questioning the support from Donald Trump amidst the upcoming legislative session.

Controversy Over President Milei's Leadership

After the Criptogate scandal, the national deputy of Unión por la Patria and head of the CTA, Hugo Yasky, expressed his opinion about President Javier Milei, whom he described as a "scammer" recognized by major international leaders. In a radio interview, Yasky indicated that Milei is regarded this way by the majority of world leaders, despite the support he received from Donald Trump, whom Yasky accuses of needing a "cover government" in the region.

Yasky criticized Milei's behavior during Criptogate, referring to his actions as unacceptable for democracy, and emphasized that the Argentine president has been labeled a scammer globally. He highlighted that Milei's conduct, including his provocations and public actions, does not manage to overshadow the negative perception that world leaders have of him.

The legislator believes that Donald Trump supports Milei due to the need for allies in South America, a region where, according to Yasky, there are governments opposed to the interests of the former U.S. president. This position is established due to the total alignment that, according to Yasky, Milei maintains with Trump and his policies.

Regarding the upcoming opening of the Legislative Assembly, Yasky expects a speech from the president filled with criticism and insults towards the opposition, based on Milei's initial reaction to the scandal. In addition, the deputy supported Governor Axel Kicillof, highlighting that his presence enriches the debate within Peronism and represents a distinctive figure with new ideas.

In relation to the political landscape in Latin America, Yasky pointed out that the region is not unconditionally aligned with the United States, unlike Milei's stance. According to the deputy, Milei presents himself as an unconditional follower of U.S. interests, which makes him a kind of puppet for the White House, a situation that Yasky considers concerning.

Finally, Yasky questioned the actions of the Judicial Power regarding Milei's project and the $Libra cryptocurrency, which generated significant losses. The deputy asserts that the system seeks to consolidate Milei's leadership at any cost, which calls into question the transparency and integrity of institutions in such situations.
