National senator for La Rioja, Fernando Rejal, has highlighted Axel Kicillof as one of the potential candidates of peronism with the greatest chances of success in the 2027 presidential elections. In an interview with Radio Splendid - 990, Rejal emphasized the importance of unity within peronism and the need for all sectors to support Kicillof to achieve electoral victory.
In this regard, the legislator called on the Radical Civic Union, criticizing its stance regarding an investigation project into the role of President Javier Milei in the cryptogate. Rejal also differentiated between a judicial investigation and a political trial, expressing doubts about the viability of the latter due to the lack of necessary will to carry it out.
Regarding the appointment of judges for the Supreme Court, Rejal mentioned that the Senate will make a decision on the nominations of Ariel Lijo and Manuel García Mansilla sent by the Executive Power. Although he considered it likely that both nominations will be approved during extraordinary sessions, he expressed his reluctance for this process to be carried out by decree, insisting on the importance of the administration of justice in Argentina.
