A house in Atahualpa, Neuquén, was shut down due to drug sales and possession of firearms. Charges were also filed against the couple living in this house. According to the Argentine News Agency, this closure came after repeated anonymous complaints from neighbors, who reported that the activity had been ongoing permanently for at least the month of January, involving drug-for-cash exchanges and transfers through virtual wallets. The facts were framed under the title of 'commercialization of narcotics in real conjunction with illegal possession of firearms, both for civilian use and conditional civilian use, as co-authors'. The raid on this house was carried out on January 30, and cocaine, cannabis, precision scales, nylon scraps, and over 490,000 pesos in cash were seized. Additionally, two firearms along with nearly 200 rounds of various calibers were found. As for the couple living in the home, charges were filed against them as they were attributed to the sale of cocaine and marijuana.
