Javier Milei's Upcoming Visit to the U.S.

President Javier Milei is preparing for a new trip to the United States before the end of the month. On this occasion, he will attend a new summit of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and will meet with the owner of Tesla and official of the new republican administration, Elon Musk. Sources from the Presidency confirmed that Milei will visit Washington again with the goal of strengthening the link between both administrations, which share a similar ideology.

In his previous visits, Milei has aimed to build ties with leaders such as Trump, Giorgia Meloni from Italy, Benjamin Netanyahu from Israel, and Nayib Bukele from El Salvador. A new meeting with Elon Musk is also planned, with whom the Argentine president has met several times since taking office.

Although not confirmed yet, there is speculation about a possible meeting between Milei and Trump during the visit, as they will at least coincide at CPAC. Javier Milei has publicly expressed his support for Trump, who, in turn, has made gestures towards the Argentine president, such as inviting him to a dinner in Mar-a-Lago and to his inauguration ceremony.

Among the possible joint initiatives, there is mention of a free trade agreement between the United States and Argentina, an idea that Milei has mentioned several times. Additionally, the creation of a League of Conservative Nations is proposed to confront woke ideology and the 2030 Agenda.

Businessman Elon Musk, appointed by Trump to lead the Department of Government Efficiency, has been publicly defended by Milei in the face of criticism received. On his part, Musk praises the Argentine president on his social media.
