Lawyer Elba Marcovecchio expressed her concern about the handling of the case between Mauro Icardi and his ex-wife Wanda Nara. Marcovecchio highlighted that Wanda's presence before the notary during certain stages of the process implied an evident manipulation.
According to the lawyer, it is inappropriate for the daughters to testify before a notary instead of doing so in front of a judge, as is appropriate in these cases. Marcovecchio emphasized the importance of children being able to express themselves without their parents' presence to ensure their freedom to speak.
The lawyer also questioned the restriction of contact and the retention of the girls, pointing out that Mauro should not be separated from his daughters without a justified reason. Marcovecchio stressed that international protocols for the protection of children's rights are designed to safeguard the integrity of minors in situations like this.
Regarding Wanda Nara's contradictions, the lawyer mentioned that she has pointed out acts of violence but then stated that Mauro was not violent, creating inconsistencies in her statements. Concerning the leaked chats, Marcovecchio considered them to be edited private conversations that should not be publicly disclosed, as they contain sensitive and manipulated information.
Finally, the lawyer criticized the media exposure of the case, arguing that 80% of the case has been affected by media coverage, complicating the objective development of the case. Marcovecchio reported recent violations in the process and reiterated the need to respect established legal protocols to protect the rights of all parties involved in the family conflict.
