Proposal of a popular front in Argentina

Deputy Hugo Yasky proposes a national front to defend human rights and confront the violence generated by Javier Milei's government, highlighting Axel Kicillof in the opposition.

The deputy and head of the Argentine Workers' Central, Hugo Yasky, advocated for the formation of a broad "popular front" opposing the policies of Javier Milei's government. In an interview on Splendid radio - 990, Yasky expressed the need to expand the front created around Peronism, aiming to build a national front that defends human rights and minorities. He emphasized that there is currently a majority rejection in Argentine society of extreme positions that threaten divergent thinking.

He stressed that the country cannot coexist with discourses that promote the elimination of those who think differently, considering that conditions are being created for this to materialize. Yasky also pointed out that in no Argentine home should extreme proposals be subject to debate, highlighting a unanimous rejection of these ideas. He mentioned that these attitudes may attract attention on social media, but in the long run, they could harm the very sender of the messages.

Additionally, Yasky addressed the internal situation of Peronism, highlighting the relevant role of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and the importance of opposition governors, among whom he singled out Axel Kicillof. He criticized Milei's government's strategies of introducing divisive topics that generate hatred and emotional violence in society. He supported the assembly promoted by the LGBT and feminist movement in Parque Lezama, considering that Milei's statements harm his administration and alienate important sectors of the population.

Finally, Yasky proposed the inclusion of significant but unrepresented electoral sectors in Congress, such as Ciudad Futura in Rosario, in forming a national front that defends social justice, human rights, and seeks to eradicate the violence generated by Milei's government. He questioned the president's comments on woke ideology and radical feminism, advocating for a broad union that addresses the needs of the majority of Argentines.
