A 31-year-old woman was brutally beaten by her partner to the point of losing consciousness and is currently in critical condition in intensive care. The attacker fled and is being intensively searched for by the police authorities in the province of Jujuy.

The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday in a house in the San Pedrito neighborhood of the capital of Jujuy, where the woman was found lying on the floor unconscious after being assaulted by her partner. Emergency services immediately transported her to "Pablo Soria" hospital, where she was diagnosed with severe cranioencephalic trauma with loss of consciousness and convulsions.

According to testimonies collected by local police, neighbors reported that the victim's partner was responsible for the assault and subsequently fled the scene. The relevant authorities have taken action and the case has been referred to the zonal deputy prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor's Office, who has tasked the Investigation Brigade with locating the fugitive aggressor.

In the words of the zonal deputy prosecutor: "It is essential to find the whereabouts of the subject so that he can be held accountable for this violent act that has left the victim in a critical situation. Gender-based violence will not be tolerated and we will take measures to ensure the safety of the affected and prevent future similar episodes."
