The Week of Authentic Artisan Ice Cream 2024 brings back The Night of Ice Cream Shops this Wednesday, November 13. During this event, more than 500 ice cream shops across the country will offer a 2-for-1 on a quarter kilo of artisan ice cream starting at 7:00 PM. Ice cream enthusiasts will be able to enjoy this promotion at participating locations, which can be found on a special interactive map of the event.
Among the participating ice cream shops, innovative offerings stand out, such as a refreshing mix of orange, lemon, and tangerine, as well as an ice cream inspired by the classic Argentine dessert with whipped cream, dulce de leche, meringues, and candied chestnuts. These flavors are among the top 10 most chosen by Argentines, who consume an average of 7 kilos of ice cream per capita per year.
The Week of Authentic Artisan Ice Cream is organized by the Association of Artisan Ice Cream Manufacturers and Related (AFADHYA), which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year with various charitable initiatives, such as delivering ice cream to health institutions and foundations, including Los Piletones, the Casa del Teatro, and the Garrahan House Foundation.
In addition to the 2-for-1 promotion, this special edition presents two new exclusive flavors: "Citrus Symphony" and "Imperial Cake." It is a unique night to enjoy flavors and traditions around Argentine artisan ice cream.
