
Last Monday, October 21, the first delivery of the Martín Fierro Film Awards took place at Usina del Arte, hosted by Mariana Fabbiani and Benjamín Vicuña, and broadcasted by América TV. The feature film won seven awards, including 'Best Film.' The most awarded film turned out to be 'Puan,' which represents the story of a professor at the university of philosophy.
Among the winners are personalities from both directing and design, as well as acting and writing. Julieta Dolinsky stood out for Art Direction with her participation in 'Puan.' Mariana Seropian won the award for Costume Design for her work in the same film. In the Sound category, Roberto Espinosa was awarded for his work in 'Los Delincuentes.' The Best First Feature award went to the film 'Adentro Mío Estoy Bailando,' directed by Leandro Koch and Paloma Schachmann.
In terms of acting, Alfredo Castro won Best Lead Actor in Drama for his participation in 'El Viento que Arrasa.' Paola Barrientos was recognized as Best Supporting Actress in Comedy for her role in 'Casi Muerta.' In the category of Best Actor in a Series, Luis Brandoni was awarded for his role in 'Nada.'
The ceremony featured the participation of more than 500 guests, and during the acceptance speeches for the awards, several winners took the opportunity to refer to the difficult current situation facing culture. The event concluded with the presentation of the Martín Fierro de Oro to Guillermo Francella in recognition of his outstanding career in film.
