Argentine actor Guillermo Francella will be honored with the Platinum Honor Award for his outstanding acting career in Ibero-American audiovisual arts during the XIII Platino Awards Xcaret gala, which will take place on May 9 at the Gran Tlachco Theater in Xcaret Park, in Riviera Maya. This recognition highlights the contribution of the Argentine actor to the creation of Ibero-American cinematic heritage, becoming an essential part of the history of our audiovisuals thanks to his participation in such diverse and unforgettable films and television shows. With a career spanning more than four decades, Guillermo Francella has established himself as one of the most popular and recognizable actors in Argentina, developing a sustained career in film, theater, and television that has positioned him as a central figure in Ibero-American audiovisuals.
