According to the Argentine News Agency, the festival will take place from December 5th to 7th. The opening will be held at the Leopoldo Marechal Municipal Theater in Ramos Mejía, while Plaza de Tapiales will once again be one of the central venues, combining an indoor space with a public area. The Executive branch highlighted that TAFIC has become a cultural hub for emerging and established filmmakers, with a neighborhood identity that coexists with an international projection and a sustained boost to local audiovisual development. The programming includes a diverse selection of short films from Argentina, Mexico, Italy, Pakistan, South Korea, Spain, and Russia, as well as a block of films by local directors. The municipality stated that one of the main objectives is to highlight and strengthen the audiovisual production of La Matanza, using the festival as a platform for community gatherings and cultural circulation.
