Argentinians are already beginning to plan the 2026 holidays. Although there has been no official announcement from the government, the dates for long weekends and public holidays are known. In 2026, there will be 16 holidays, 12 of which are fixed and 4 are movable. If a movable holiday falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday, it will be moved to the previous Monday. If it falls on a Thursday or Friday, it will be moved to the following Monday.

June Wednesday, June 17 - Anniversary of the Death of General Don Martín Miguel de Güemes, movable holiday. Saturday, June 20 - Anniversary of the Death of General Don Manuel Belgrano, fixed holiday.
July Thursday, July 9 - Independence Day, fixed holiday.
August Monday, August 17 - Anniversary of the Death of General Don José de San Martín, movable holiday.
October Monday, October 12 - Respect for Cultural Diversity Day, movable holiday.
November Friday, November 20 - National Sovereignty Day, movable holiday.
