A 29-year-old man was arrested in the coastal town of Aguas Verdes, Partido de La Costa, accused of robbing a car at gunpoint and then crashing it into a ditch. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the alleged thief, identified as Ariel David González, stole the vehicle and fled towards route 11. This prompted officers from the First Police Station of Santa Teresita and the Tactical Operations Group to begin pursuing him. The suspect lost control of a dark gray Peugeot 208 (license plate AC756VO) and rolled into a water channel, where it became submerged. Authorities rescued him and proceeded with his immediate arrest, which was authorized by the Decentralized Prosecution Office No. 1 of Mar del Tuyú, headed by Gustavo Mascioli, under the charge of motor vehicle robbery. Additionally, the intervening official also ordered the seizure of the vehicle.
