Cecilia Milone Cancels Birthday Show Amid Controversy

Singer Cecilia Milone is going through one of her most difficult moments amid comments about her love for composer 'Chico' Novarro and, after canceling her show on Mirtha Legrand's birthday, stated that she felt disappointed by 'how aggressive 'Chiquita' was.'

During the program, Legrand referred to her party and what happened with the singer: 'I thanked her, but in the middle, Cecilia calls because of the scandal that had been generated and decides to withdraw, not go to the birthday.'

Milone had to cancel the performance because, according to her, she did not want to give interviews and added: 'How was I going to do it? She withdrew because of the scandal. I wasn't the one who invited her; she offered herself. I was going to ruin the party.'

Event organizer Ramiro Arzuga, who is usually in charge of the diva's anniversaries, explained: 'When we organize Mirtha's birthday, we have a different show every year, as happened with Jairo and 'El Negro' LaviƩ. I contacted Emilia to see if she could, I spoke with the representative and we arranged everything that she was going to sing.'

The narrative continued with the financial aspect: 'I asked her to send me the fees for the five songs she could perform, and Dani, her best friend, who also represents her, told me that Cecilia was going to gift it to Mirtha for her birthday and that she wasn't going to charge anything.'

A week after her birthday, Mirtha invited to the table Milone's counterpart in the media scandal, Julieta Novarro, who denied the existence of a romance between her father and the interpreter.
