The renowned Graciela Alfano is once again at the center of controversy. With a 53-year career in the media, the former vedette rejected participation in a program on El Nueve because the production of the channel decided to remove the space hosted by Karin Cohen. Aware of the communicators' employment situation, Alfano halted the negotiations that were ongoing for her to have a daily program on that channel.
In an interview with Fabián Doman on Splendid 990, Alfano expressed her stance on the situation: "It is being done well, I saw the program... It affected me, I am an empathetic person." Despite this, she does not close the doors to future projects on television: "We are working on another part of the channel, on another idea and different time slot. I was happy. We are still in conversation for something weekly that I like more and can relate to who I am and what I have to give."
Alfano mentioned that the program in question was a magazine and not an entertainment show, which influenced her decision not to participate in it. Additionally, she regretted learning about the show's cancellation through the media: "I saw a video that moved me, where Karin Cohen - who is a girl I appreciate and admire as a journalist - said goodbye from her dressing room." The former vedette emphasized that she dislikes leaving people without work and that she responds to her emotions and intuition in addition to her analytical mind: "I responded to my emotions, not just to my analytical mind. I felt good after all. Something happened to me."
