Inflation in Argentina for March was 3.4%, marking a decrease compared to previous months, in a context of price pressure and still unstable expectations. The data interrupted the deceleration trend that the government had hoped to consolidate at the beginning of the year and again placed the index above the 3% monthly mark. According to the Argentine News Agency, among the factors explaining the increase are rises in education, transportation, and food, as well as the impact of external variables. In this sense, specialists point out that the evolution of prices will continue to be conditioned by pending adjustments and the international context, which could keep inflation at high levels in the short term. Despite this, those in the ruling party maintain that a deceleration is expected in the coming months, in line with economic projections.
