According to an INDEC report, Argentina saw significant growth in internet users in both fixed and mobile segments in Q4 2025, with the highest growth in the organizational sector.

According to a report from the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC), internet access saw a growth in the fourth quarter of 2025. Compared to the same month of the previous year, increases of 4.0% in October, 4.2% in November, and 4.1% in December were registered. In December 2025, residential access accounted for 94.6% of total fixed access, with a 3.9% increase. Fixed access for organizations, representing 5.4% of the total, rose by 6.9%. Regarding mobile internet access, the report details that in October, November, and December of 2025, 40,466, 40,326, and 40,468 thousand mobile accesses were registered, respectively. For the last quarter of 2025, the average was 40,419,638 accesses, a 3.8% increase over the same period in the previous year. Residential mobile access reached 36,130,157, a positive variation of 3.4%, while organizational mobile access numbered 4,289,481 and accumulated a 7.2% increase. On fixed internet access, the INDEC report states that in October, November, and December 2025, 8,475, 8,533, and 8,541 thousand fixed accesses were registered, respectively. Compared to the same month of the previous year, increases of 4.5% in October, 3.8% in November, and 3.2% in December were recorded. Between December 2025 and the same month of 2024, residential mobile access rose by 2.7% and represented 89.3% of the total, while organizational mobile access increased by 7.3% and accounted for 10.7% of the total. The INDEC report also highlights that in the fourth quarter of 2025, an average of 8,516,515 fixed internet accesses were registered, a significant increase of 4.1% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. The provinces of Buenos Aires, the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and Catamarca were the top three regions with the most internet access during this period.
