Buenos Aires, March 10 (NA) – The Secretariat of Nuclear Affairs, led by Federico Ramos Napoli, organized an event at the Argentine Consulate in New York, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Nine state and private companies and organizations that make up the Argentine nuclear sector participated to present the country's potential in the nuclear field and to generate new opportunities for cooperation and investment.
Within the framework of Argentina Week 2026, the Secretariat of Nuclear Affairs organized on Tuesday, March 10, in New York the meeting 'Argentina's Nuclear Sector: A New Stage of Development and Global Projection', a side event aimed at presenting the capabilities of the Argentine nuclear sector to companies, investors, and key players in the international energy sector.
According to information from the Argentine News Agency, the event took place at the General Consulate and Promotion Center of the Argentine Republic in New York, with the support of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which through its diplomatic network promotes actions for economic and technological strengthening to enhance the country's international presence.
The event brought together representatives from more than 50 American companies, including potential investors, clients, strategic partners, and suppliers, who participated in a day of exchange aimed at learning about the potential of the Argentine nuclear sector and exploring cooperation and investment opportunities.
The opening was led by the Secretary of Nuclear Affairs and the Secretary of International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fernando Brun, who highlighted the importance of projecting the capabilities of the Argentine nuclear sector on the international stage.
In this context, Ramos Napoli stated that 'the global nuclear renaissance is not a forecast: it is happening. Based on the experience accumulated over decades of work, today we can affirm that our company is in a position to provide materials and services throughout the entire nuclear program chain, thanks to having developed solid technical knowledge and formed highly qualified engineering teams'.
The event concluded with a space for exchange between authorities, business leaders, and sector representatives, aimed at strengthening international ties and promoting new opportunities for the development of the Argentine nuclear industry.
'Argentina Week 2026' is an initiative aimed at presenting Argentina's productive capabilities and investment opportunities before international business leaders, investors, and private sector representatives.
'Argentina has the resources, the technology, and now both the institutional framework and macroeconomic stability to participate in that growth, not as a spectator, but as a partner'.
During the day, various panels were held that presented the capabilities of the entire Argentine nuclear value chain, including strategic resources, technological development, nuclear industry, and energy generation.
The event reflected the coordination work driven by the Secretariat of Nuclear Affairs to strengthen the international projection of the sector.
Representatives from companies and organizations of the Argentine nuclear sector participated, including Mr. Pablo Cantero (CNEA), Mr. Erik Asbed Bazarian (Corporación América), Mr. Omar Adra (URAMERICA), Mr. Rodolfo Kramer (CONUAR), Dr. Jorge Salcedo (IMPSA), Mr. Darío Giussi (INVAP) and Mr. Bruno Oberlis (Dioxitek).
