KIP Protocol Distances Itself from $LIBRA Scandal

The founder of KIP Protocol, Julian Peh, distanced himself from the recent fall of the $LIBRA platform, which was promoted by Milei through his X account shortly before its collapse. "Milei tweeted about it. At that moment, KIP had no involvement in the launch, as our role has always been post-launch," Peh stated.

In an official statement published on the KIP Protocol account, Peh clarified that they were invited by Hayden Davis, the initiator of the project, after its launch. "KIP was invited post-launch to manage/supervise the selection of financed tech projects and provide technical infrastructure for AI initiatives," he said. "As a tech company, our focus remains on innovation and infrastructure, never on token launches," he assured.

Furthermore, Peh made it clear that he and his staff received threats following the scandal. "KIP has taken on a lot, including threats against me and the staff, but we were not involved in the launch, we did not handle any tokens or SOL," he asserted. "All details related to the tokens should be directed to Kelsier. We did not receive a single cent from today’s activity," Peh emphasized in the statement.

Finally, the founder of KIP Protocol recounted that there were conversations with Kelsier and that all market creation fees will be allocated to a foundation in Argentina.
