President Javier Milei expressed optimism regarding the inflation data for January, which reached 2.2%, the lowest level since 2020 and the most reduced inflation in the last 5 years. In a video, Milei highlighted that excluding the effects related to the pandemic, inflation is the lowest since 2018.

According to the president, inflation in goods was 1.5%, not accounting for the effects of the delayed rates left by the previous government, while in the basic basket, it was 0.9%. Milei emphasized that in goods and the basic basket, Argentina is experiencing deflation in dollars, as the crawling peg was at 2%.

Milei stated: “We continue making history. We are the best government in history, much to the chagrin of the econo-chanters and the group of monkeys who want Argentina to fail.”

"VAAAAAAAAMOOOOOO TOTO...!!! IPC JANUARY 2.2%" celebrated President Milei while sharing the inflation figures and reiterating his conviction that his management is the best in the country's history, challenging those who criticize his administration.
