The head of the oilseed chamber CIARA and the center of cereal exporters CEC, Gustavo Idígoras, expressed his support and gratitude to the Ministry of Economy for the announced reduction in export taxes. In a statement, he emphasized the importance of this measure and noted that they are attentive to the specific details of it, considering that it is a temporary tax reduction and that it is necessary to analyze the conditions and commitments it will entail.
"We understand that the decree will come out on Monday, so we will wait to see its contents to see how the market will react, but naturally, we always welcome any reduction in export taxes," Idígoras mentioned regarding the expectations surrounding the official publication of the decree with the new regulations. This reduction in export taxes has generated a positive response in the agribusiness sector, which has strongly backed the measure adopted by the Government.
In a context where the tax cut on agribusiness products is perceived as an advance for the sector, the business community shows receptiveness to this decision and is waiting to know in detail how the reduction in export taxes will be applied. The transitory nature of this measure raises the need to evaluate the terms and conditions associated, in order to understand its impact on the market and the activities of the sector.
The collaboration between the Government and the actors in the agribusiness field reflects a mutual recognition of the importance of these actions for the economic and productive development of the country. The reduction in export taxes is seen as a stimulus for the competitiveness and growth of the sector, which generates optimism and favorable expectations for the future.
